District!
This site is for parents, tutors, and schools in the program...and anyone else interested in starting their

According
to the California Department of Education, the "Community-Based English Tutoring (CBET) Program helps local educational agencies
provide free or subsidized programs of English language instruction to parents or other adult members of the community who
pledge to tutor English learners."
The
Chico Unified School District runs CBET in a variety of schools; the free classes are taught by trained
tutors enrolled in graduate school in
the TIL program at California State University, Chico. Childcare is provided free of cost to parents.
