Our aim is to teach parents
to be more involved in their children’s development in the school system. Our firm belief is that parents play the most
vital role in their children's growth. Through our program, we develop parents' English and tutoring skills, as well as teach
them about the school system and the community, so that they can not only be more involved parents, but more active community
members as well.
Our tutors are graduate students enrolled in the graduate program
in Teaching International Languages at California State University, Chico. "The Teaching International Languages degree provides the theoretical and practical basis for foreign
language teachers, foreign/second language college and university instructors, and other professionals teaching world languages."
